Organizing and Restoring My House to Order
I have been feeling very behind in the house organization area. I love a clean organized house. This is something I have learned is very hard to do for a few reasons:
KIDS: there is no getting around all of there stuff, papers, toys, dirt, clothes ect.
DOG: I love my dog and she loves garbage and stealing food. I realize this is bad behavior and right now I am too lazy to correct that in more permanent ways. Isn't she cute!!!
TIME: I thought once a few of my kids were in school that this would be easier. Boy! was I wrong. By time I get them ready, and to and from school sometimes all my time is taken up in a day.
MONEY: My baseboards, walls and doors need paint...I need tile in my kitchen and 1/2 bath. The list is miles long and in this economy there is never enough money. With groceries continually rising in price, along with gas, and what a family of five needs all the time the money never stretches far enough.
I am sure there are many other factors to this, but these seem to be the things keeping me from a "House of Order."
I read this blog last week on this exact topic and loved it. This lady reminds me a lot of myself and what I TRY to do. She just seems a lot better at it than I am.

I decided starting on November 1, 2012 I will take control back. I am thinking to get things back on working order it will take at least until the end of the year and I am hoping to document each step along the way. I am realistic that it will not always be pretty or easy. I do know that it will be totally worth it in the end.
